The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center has been a vital part of the community for 50 years. From the beginning, our services and development have been defined by the needs of East Boston and the communities we serve. We are the largest community health center in Massachusetts, a leading health care provider in our service area, and among the largest community health centers in the country. In 1970, the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center opened its doors. Since that launch, the health center has operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Today we are the only health center in New England, and one of the few in the country, to provide continuous care.
